Who will I be working with?
Face for Business provide telephone answering and messaging services for businesses of all sizes across the UK. The ambitious company continues to make significant investment into technology and its people, and has offices situated in a beautiful canal-side location within the scenic town of Burscough. The growing team currently includes 18 PA’s, who benefit from a modern open plan working environment, and a family-like atmosphere where teamwork and communication flows naturally.
So, what will the role of PA entail?
Reporting to a PA Team Leader and working as part of a busy call handling team, as a PA you’ll receive superb training to enable you to provide first-class customer service to your allocated clients and their callers. You’ll build and maintain relationships with clients to become familiar with each business and their requirements, which will enable you to effectively handle telephone callers on their behalf. There will never be a dull moment or time for clock-watching, as often you will be answering up to 140 calls a day, providing a helpful, friendly service and taking accurate, quality messages, that you will then record on the computerised system and relay to the relevant client by email.

Ideally you will have proven customer service experience gained within a call centre or reception role, although a great attitude, tons of enthusiasm to learn and a brilliant telephone manner are most important.

Starting Salary: £16,000 per annum (with potential to rise to £19,000 as you gain experience within the company and excel as a PA). Plus performance based monthly bonuses up to £250.

Hours of Work
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. You’ll be working on a team rota to cover the office of Monday to Friday 8:00am to 8pm. Shifts to include 8.00am to 4.30pm, 8.30am to 5.00pm. 9.30am to 6pm, and 10.30am to 7pm. You may also be asked to cover a 11.30am to 8pm shift. You will also be required to work approximately one in every four Saturdays, which may be 9am to 5.30pm, although there are some shorter Saturday shifts as well. Time off is always given in lieu for any Saturday working.
Location: Burscough (near Ormskirk, West Lancashire). Easy to commute to with excellent road links from Preston, Southport and Wigan.
