Face for Business Profiled on Small Business Saturday UK 2013
Face For Business has just been profiled on Small Business Saturday’s social media pages. Small Business Saturday is government backed initiative, which raises the profile of small businesses across the UK. There will be a host of events taking place on Saturday 7 December 2013. During the run up to this date, there will be 100 small businesses profiled each day. We are business No.56 to be profiled.
Ingenious Britain is a campaign that aims to bring together experience from different small business sectors in order to help others and learn from them. Ingenious Britain wants to be the campaign that is part of growing businesses. Follow the link to its website to find out more. http://www.ingeniousbritain.biz/
As part of the Small Business Saturday campaign, small businesses are being asked to create an event to promote on 7 December which engages with the local community and connects with small businesses in the area. For example, if you are going to host an open day and invite people along, use your local independent catering firm for cakes or canapés, or hold the event at a local community centre.
Phone Hacking Awareness
As Face For Business is a call handling and telephone answering service, we are going to spearhead a campaign to raise awareness of phone hacking. This causes small businesses an estimated cost of £1bn. So, as an SME ourselves, we are going to inform other small businesses on how to avoid falling into this trap. We will be launching our campaign within the coming month, ready for the Small Business Saturday event on 7 December 2013. Follow the link to their Facebook page to find out more and register your small business.
As part of the campaign Face For Business has been featured on the Ingenious Britain website, where we explained our journey so far. Have a read of it here.
